I came across this cozy little coffee shop while wandering around Amsterdam, and it turned out to be a great find. It was quiet when I walked in, so I ordered a cup of tea (which was delicious) and ended up chatting with Kristy, the owner. She was super friendly and made the whole experience feel personal, more like hanging out with a friend than just visiting a shop. There is a great selection of books and quirky cat-themed stuff—I picked up some pins and bookmarks for friends. Definitely a spot I’d visit again!

We stopped in at K’s on Saturday to explore her new spot, have a cappuccino and chat- but what we left with was SO MUCH MORE!

First - the shop is absolutely as charming as K herself- an embodiment of her brilliant personality and general love of people. It shines through in how she interacts with everyone - & I know this because our ‘pop in’ visit turned into more than an hour!

The shop is full of wonderful books, great gift ideas, candles, artwork, cards, totes & the list goes on- So many great items & she is constantly adding more!

Second- she has great coffee and also great ‘proper’ tea & while one may say- there are plenty of those all throughout the city & this is true- BUT- never once in ALL my years in Amsterdam have I sat in a space where strangers gathered, had coffee and actually sat and chatted with each other & got to know each other. No distractions, simply being present. K. Joined in the conversations as well- we laughed and it felt like being in the living room of a dear friends home.

It was comfortable, cozy and warm-

I left the shop feeling energized from the entire experience. This is a MUST visit in the area - a GEM !!

Press pause on your day and enjoy a treat- as it may end up being a far greater gift than you anticipated.

I will most definitely be back to shop, have coffee & a treat - plus to relax and see who I may meet along the way!

In the heart of Amsterdam zuid lies this cosy cafe store. Such a nice atmosphere and really well chosen and original gifts and objects u just wanna have.

For book nerds and lovers you have a great selection of English books and also a large collection of FANTASTIC books for the young readers.

Kirsty the shop owner and host is so friendly and heartwarming…it always feels like you going to a friends place.

I would definitely recommend this as pit stop and destination for a coffee and an original gift/souvenir and English books.

Highly recommend this gorgeous store and cafe! There are so many well-curated books and bits & pieces in here, from wall art to bags to notebooks and everything in between. It’s one of those stores where you leave with more than you went in for because everything is so nice. Thanks for hosting bookclub Kirsty, and I can’t wait to visit again soon! ✨

A bright little ray of sunshine in Amsterdam. The shop is adorable. Great selection of books, kids books and knickknacks. If you love cute cat stuff, this is your spot. The coffee is good, not exceptional, but that is not the draw. K, the owner, is what will keep you coming back. She is warm, welcoming and gives you an instant sense of community. The whole operation is straight out of a hallmark movie. If you are lucky enough to pop in when she is there, you will stay longer than intended and leave happier than you arrived. Also, the bathroom is top notch and worthy of a visit on it’s own. 10 out of 10, will be back.
