This store is adorable! But the staff could be more friendly and approachable. I’ve been there about 9 times, and I don’t feel as welcome as I’d like. Also, the prices are a bit higher than other stores in Australia. But overall, it’s still a great place to go for the experience. Just don’t order albums online from there - there are cheaper options.

I'm from Melbourne and I have a tradition of going to this shop to buy a photocard every time I'm in Sydney, so I was really looking forward to it. One of the staff members asked me to wait until she had finished filling up a binder with photocards before I could have a look at them. Despite waiting 15 minutes, she was still not done and I asked if I could pick out one of the cards but was told no and wasn't given any helpful information on how long I would have to wait. She was dismissive and I essentially missed out on an opportunity to buy something. I understand staff have a job to do and losing a customer over a small purchase won't affect the business but the interaction was confusing and left a bad impression.

All the staff were so nice there (especially Emily) and helped out me and my sister SO much. Loved the music being played and has a good album selection. Great freebies and overall a great place to go, highly recommended <3

This place is interesting. On the one hand, it's a nice place to hang out, especially when events run, however, the store itself is a lot less underwhelming. The bottom area with the cafe is not always staffed, which makes it awkward to get the staff's attention. Additionally, although there was stock, it was priced more than some other stores, which does put me off from ever purchasing from this place. The drinks are also alright, they could be better, but I think people here are paying for the cupsleeve (when it happens) or for the name, rather than for the actual drink itself. In saying that though, being close to Central makes it alright, and having more K-pop stores is good.

Shah Bahpyu (Shah Petreski)

I have a K-Pop obsessed daughter so when we were in Sydney last weekend she begged us to take her to I Heart Kpop.

The pros:
- It has a fantastic range of Kpop albums, Lomo cards and a small range of light sticks in store.
- They also have an online shop so you can get things shipped to you.
- Most of the albums are around $46 - $50. This sounds expensive but with Kpop albums you get so much more than just the CD. They generally include a book or a poster, an authentic photo cards, post cards, stickers etc. each album includes different things. And to my daughter they are invaluable so I guess it is worth it.
- The staff were knowledgeable and helpful

The Cons:
- the shop is really hard to find even with iPhone maps and Google maps as it is not directly off the street where it shows on the map. We walked around in the pouring rain for ages with umbrellas looking for it, my daughter was adamant about finding it, if it were me I would have abandoned the search. We finally found someone on the street who knew where it was and took us there. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think we would have found it. They really need better and more signage.
- being in Sydney city, parking is difficult (so plan ahead if you want to find this shop)
- The place is advertised as a cafe and a Kpop shop. My husband ordered a coffee at the counter and they said they didn’t sell coffee. He pointed to a coffee pot and they said that was just for the people who worked there. We thought it was really funny, a cafe where you are not allowed to have coffee as it is only for the staff.

Over we got what we came for.

i’m not ashamed to say that i always go here as soon as i get paid 😭😭

the first time i came here was a few months ago and i already knew i would be coming back. the staff were incredibly nice and the drink i bought (which is my usual now — blue lemonade) was amazing.

i continued to come here many times and even brought my 7yr old brother (who is quite literally obsessed with skz — i’m teaching him well) and they were so sweet to him.. he also LOVED the blue lemonade.

a few weeks after that,, my brother brought my parents there so they could buy me albums for my birthday and i heard from my parents too that they were incredibly nice.

they also have birthday parties frequently for the birthdays of idols — lots of freebies with drinks! all the drinks also come with a cup sleeve of different idols and i have quite a lot so far 😭

overall,, if i could i would rate this store higher than 5 — it’s gorgeous inside and everything seems perfect to me (i’m going there this afternoon 🤭🤭)

The albums and merch are very expensive, however they have almost everything in stock. (magazines, etc) Most people browse wrounf the uppet level where the albums are, the cafe at the entrance is decorated with many posters of kpop groups (bts, skz, red velvet) I didn't get to try anything from the menu when i visted the cafe, however there were many options. There is a TV at the cafe which only played stray kids videos. It provided great entertainment and a cozy environment.

Kara Song

Very friendly staffs also many options! But the shop is not big, so avoid pick time 🙂
Also they do drinks as well, so It's very good to stop by whenever you are around.
Good experience!
